South Shore

The newest district of Korvosa, South Shore became a part of the city only about 20 years ago. South Shore’s population consists mainly of the nouveau riche hoping to escape the cramped conditions found elsewhere in the city. Unlike most of the rest of the city, South Shore has several city parks and public gardens.

Shouth Shore is not subdivided into wards.

Notable Locations

The Pantheon of Many: Completed just two years ago in 4702, the Pantheon of Many holds shrines to 17 of the most popular deities in the Inner Sea region. Shrines are to: Abadar, Asmodeus, Calistria, Cayden Cailean, Desna, Erastil, Iomedae, Irori, Nethys, Norgorber, Pharasma, Sarenrae, Shelyn, Torag, Urgathoa, and Zon-Kuthon. Priests of the various deities tend to their individual shrines under the watchful eye of a pair of royal observers. No sacrifice of any creature, intelligent or not, is permitted within the pantheon.
Green Market: A small, fully-enclosed marketplace specializes in food, clothing, and other commodities needed by all residents of the city, but also offers jewelry and other luxuries for sale. Its proprietor is Zeeva Foxglove.
The Jade Circle: The finest (and most expensive) tea house in Korvosa, offering fine teas from far-off Tian Xia, Minkai, Osirion, and Vudra. It also serves exotic foods from all over the Inner Sea— the more distant, the more popular (and costly).
